Theta Network Celebrates First Year of Success with Two Awards

August 19, 2003 - Portsmouth, NH

The Theta Network, which is comprised of the Holistic Network, the Tai Chi Network, the Yoga Network and the Buddhist Network, recently celebrated their first successful year online. The networks provide an online community to promote the teachings of each of the disciplines. Teachers, studios and schools can add their information, so that students may search by geographic location to find a mentor in their area.

Since it was launched a year ago, the Networks have garnered close to 10,000 members. The sites are continually being upgraded and enhanced by the addition of new features and functionality. A recent addition included the ability for studios and schools to view how many searches were done for their geographic location, thus providing them with detailed and invaluable marketing information.

The Golden Web Award and the Omni Award were both presented to the Theta Network for the overall design, functionality and content. The two awards are sponsored by the top professional associations in the web development industry.

The initial development and ongoing enhancements are provided by CrystalVision Web Site Design & Internet Services in Portsmouth. "The sites have truly taken on a life of their own. They are very active and seem to relate to the current movement to holistic and alternative medicine. We are proud to be the developer of the sites. We have worked very closely with Ben Low over the past year to ensure the success of the sites and it has paid off." Stated Deb Brewer, owner of CrystalVision.
