Jason Santo - Developer & Online Video Producer

A CrystalVision team member since summer 2007, Jason's interest in web development and internet video stemmed from his "first love:" moviemaking. A 1997 graduate of Emerson College and an award winning filmmaker, Jason began working diligently on the web shortly after graduation as it was (and still is) the best way to publicize independent productions. His combined passions for movies and web technology resulted in his launching of MicrocinemScene.com, a news and critical review site geared to truly independent film production. Maintaining that web site for several years, Jason became increasingly interested in web site design and programming as well as multimedia and online video production.

A native New Englander, Jason's web development and media encoding skills have been utilized by several big local names including Boston.com, Jillian's of Boston and The Boston Red Sox. Prior to joining CrystalVision, he managed a web development company based on the New Hampshire Seacoast and during that time greatly expanded his programming knowledge. Now with over a decade of web development experience behind him, Jason has tackled projects in just about every popular web programming language including HTML, CSS, Flash, PHP, and ColdFusion.

In the rare instance Jason isn't sitting in front of a computer creating a web site or encoding video, he can be found watching movies, rooting for the Red Sox or listening to music.
