Team : Dan Ryan

Dan joined the CrystalVision team in June of 2008. He has been building Web sites and applications since 1995 using languages such as ASP, PHP, JSP, HTML, CSS, ColdFusion, VBScript, JavaScript, and SQL.

Before coming to CrystalVision, Dan spent four years as an entrepreneur in the internet domain name industry. Prior to that, he was a freelancer, contractor and employee engaged in Web development for a variety of companies and clients. He has taught corporate classes in Web publishing and has experience working on projects of all sizes.

Dan earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1994 where he concentrated in international economics, and later took graduate courses in software development there. In 1995 Dan discovered the emerging medium called the "World-Wide Web". He anticipated its enormous global impact and commercial possibilities, so he began learning to code Web pages in HTML and stumbled onto a new career.

In his spare time Dan enjoys taking photos, doing improv comedy (e.g. "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"), watching Red Sox games, studying history, and on occasion he can be found playing guitar or keyboards in a band. He is currently learning videography.

Dan lives at the beach on Plum Island, MA and rarely wears shoes.
